Introduction
I love shopping online. The selection, prices, and styles are amazing. BUT it's annoying to try to figure out if certain things will be "good" or not one session. That's why I ask friends for advice, I wanted to allow every user to give powerful & fashionable help.
The problem
Lack of convenient way to receive advice from friends when shopping online.
The reasons
-
Lack of an alternative way to consult with multiple groups of friends.
-
No platform to receive alternatives and proposals from friends.
-
Most end-users don't know how to give \ or feel that they cant give professional fashion advice.
What's in the market tody?
Most of the similar apps I viewed were based on the main feed, where all your items can be viewed. Some had the voting element for an item, or the total outfit, or to vote between two options. Others had the service of asking a professional stylist, and where to buy the item you uploaded.
The leading ide felt similar to clothes Instagram but with a focus on the persons' picture first and the cloth second. I want to make the cloth first.

User Research
The next step for a better understanding of the problem and the users was to conduct a google form survey that had more than 100 answers. I choose this methodology for a better understanding of the market, the users feeling, pain point, and habits regarding shopping online and consulting (or not) friends) about what Here is what I found out:

The average group of close friends is between 3-5.
The most common questions about an item are:
Shape, color, price, and 'how fashionable is it'
80 % said that friends' opinions will change their's.

Interviews
The second step was an interview. Majority of the answers from the google form was from women between the age of 25-35, these were my main interview. I interviewed 5 people. I asked them about their frustration during shopping, which was their best & worst experience. Moreover, I asked about social patterns and how they ask for a friend's help in "small| daily question like in fashion.
From the interviews I gathered the following:

-
Shape and color were the most important parameters.
-
By interviewing stylists and "fashionistas" I phrased the auto-answers.
-
The value of a recommendation needs to be the main point- so that every user can ask for help and respond.
-
We tend to search the quality advice from people we trust in a certain area.

User flow
Main flow after login to the app. The length can be changed due to the number of qustion.
The basic formation is that recommendation will appear as an option only if you vote 'no'.

-
Focus on the "heavy users" who already buy clothes online.
-
Voting for item "yes" or "no", if voting 'no' then user can add recommendetion.
-
